house shows are one of my favorite ways to connect with audiences. they provide a unique opportunity to connect with one another as we co-create a beautiful and intimate experience in your space. 

you and your guests will enjoy the inspiration and stories behind many of my songs and get a more personal picture of my artist life than you may get from attending a bar or club gig or festival.

all of this allows for a casual and fun connection with everyone involved. your guests will leave brimming with love and inspiration.

how does this work?

we accept offers from anywhere and everywhere.

unfortunately, we can't accept every offer due to schedules, routing and the cost of travel, etc. 

most hosts ask a suggested contribution from their guests.  of course if this is in conjunction with another celebration or you simply aren't comfortable asking your friends to contribute, we can consider an outright offer.

when we can schedule your house show along the routing with some existing tour dates, it will allow more flexibility.

I'll PROvide: 

  • show poster
  • facebook event (with you added as host)
  • online ticketing/rsvp landing page, upon request
  • a small sound system (if the date is driveable in my schedule)
  • my own transportation and lodging (consider this when making your offer. travel is expensive!​)​
  • advance calls to answer your questions and coach you through the process of promoting your event
  • 90 minutes of songs, stories and summerland vibes--orange roses for everyone!

You Provide:

  • a living room, back yard, art gallery, church basement, clubhouse or other space with a flat area for me to play
  • a small sound system (if the date is not driveable in my schedule--if you need help with this, i'll help you figure it out!)
  • a slew of your favorite music-loving friends

​on the day of your show…

  • set the stage! hang some twinkle lights! let's create the vibe! 
  • make your favorite snacks or host a potluck
  • provide beverages or a signature cocktail…or make it BYOB
  • remember seating--you can ask folks to bring a chair if needed
  • you will greet your guests and provide an introduction to set the tone for the event

The Numbers

i am a master budget traveler but travel is increasingly costly. please keep that in mind when planning your offer.  there is always more flexibility when i can incorporate your event into my existing tour and travel schedule

sometimes folks will team up with another household in the neighborhood to share the cost.  most often, hosts will ask a suggested contribution from their guests, usually about US$20-30. this is a co-created event so we will work with you in every way possible to make your show a success. 

a 50% deposit is due 30 days prior to the confirmed show date, along with the execution of a basic contract that essentially says you agree to pay the remaining amount on the day of the show.
