It's hard to believe that we are about to celebrate the 5th anniversary of my debut album, Geography.
The summer that we finalized the release plan and physical merchandise, vinyl cost and turnaround times skyrocketed and we weren't able to complete this last piece of the project at the time.
I'm so grateful to say that the market has shifted for vinyl production and we are finally getting this beauty into the world on wax--I couldn't be more excited.
Even though it was my first record, I knew from the get go that I wanted to be able to hear these songs on vinyl. I have always loved the great album rock of the 70s and intentionally listening to a complete album is still one of my favorite past-times.
As we chose and produced the songs for this record, I wanted this to be presented as an opus: a body of work comprised of a collection of songs intended to be knitted together. While they don't explicitly tell a story, I hope you can listen to this album in its entirety and feel as if we have traveled a bit of road together.
Best of all, by completing the last deliverable from my initial release campaign, I will now be free to shift my focus fully on my next full-length project--something that we've already been working hard in and out of the studio to bring to life.
So, I hope you'll join us as we celebrate the final piece of this release.
We've also decided to sweeten this anniversary celebration by offering one more thing that a lot of folks have asked for: one last printing of shirts with this iconic album design.
Be sure to act fast; we are only offering a limited run of the vinyl and once pre-order closes on October 22 (Geography's Birthday!), the vinyl price will go up to the merch table price of $40.
Also, these tees and hoodies are ONLY available during the Anniversary campaign and will not be available on the merch table this winter.
Thank you SO much for being here. I cannot wait to get this beauty into your hands.
With gratitude and love,
