If you made your way to this page, you are a booking or media contact, and I sure appreciate you taking the time to check out my sound. I am privileged to be the steward of these songs and living life on the road sharing them with new friends is one of the great honors of my life.
I'm fiercely proud of my debut album, Geography, which was released to streaming in October 2021 after a September radio release. The album peaked at #10 on the NACC Folk Chart, #38 on the National Folk Chart and was #27 on Old West Americana's top 30 albums of 2021.
Thanks again for stopping in--I look forward to connecting with you and your audience real soon...

"Brandi Carlile meets Patsy Cline with a dash of Johnny Cash swagger—a little modern, a little old-fashioned,
always earnest..."

"A superb debut...9/10."

"...she delivers her songs with much forthrightness, an incredible amount of sincerity, and a timelessness that resonates on an admirable emotional level...every track here is nothing short of gripping."

October 2021 Local Music Round-Up
"From the start, she sings her 11-songs with perfection. Evident on songs like “Michigan,” & “The Weight (Unrequited),” is an Emmylou Harris-quality. Wonderfully rendered songs that show the diversity in Ms. Summer’s voice. No showboating, just a complete understanding of which words mean more than others. The inflection, phrasing, & her tonality overall sincere."
—John Apice
Americana Highways, 21 October 2021
"This record is epic. It sounds traveled—because it was. It's a very epic and honest retelling of her travels and a certain stage of her life..."

"Once again Oklahoma, a land that gave birth to many musicians who left their mark in the roots scene, presents us with a notable voice, one of the most intriguing of recent times.
Rigby Summer, from Stillwater, has traveled the thousand roads of America and has come away with impressions, sounds, and images in an excellent mix of country, folk and contemporary inflections, facilitated by remarkable vocal skills."

Happy Trails Radio (Italy)
"Her care and attention to countless independent artists (locally to her home and nationally via folk alliance guerrilla showcase events she sponsors) has benefited me personally.
When she shines her light and warmth on other musicians, we blossom.
I’ve been so lucky to experience this firsthand."

"When I think about Rigby, she is a vibe....when you are in her world, you are family. And what a beautiful gift for people to hear her music and feel like her family..."
— Selina Gray
financial empowerment coach
“Rigby Summer has a seasoned voice in the manner of many of the fine female balladeers of the past. But this singer/songwriter offers new and old perspectives on the condition of love in the modern world.”
— Rick Reiley
The Corridor Magazine
“One of the things that has struck me about Rigby's songwriting is that she has this gift of creating a world in each song...something that has it’s own discreet story within the world, but then I can receive it as a listener and apply it to my own story. It’s something really beautiful about her writing.”
