What is your budget for this project?
So far, I have covered all of my up-front costs of production as follows:
- $1700--Guest musicians, Recording, Mixing & Mastering
- $750--Licensing Fees
- $2800--Vinyl and CD production
- $500--Artwork, Packaging and Shipping Supplies
- $750--Promotion
$6500--Total Cost
Are you really going to have this ready in time for Christmas?
The great thing about all of this is that I have already assumed all the risk, so you don't have to. Provided production turnaround times don't shift, all physical copies will be in my hands no later than early-mid December--just in time for me to send them to you as stocking stuffers. This project is happening and I am really proud of the work Kyle and I did with these songs. I believe it is a product you will be proud to share with your friends and family year-round.
Is anyone really buying physical copies these days?
In a word, YES! In an age where we can have anything and everything we want through a quick search on our phones, a lot of audiophiles are returning to the experience of enjoying intentional listening at home and the preferred format for that has almost always been vinyl. To enhance your home listening experience, we have even worked out some bonus material that will ONLY be available on vinyl and CD. Furthermore, if you want to collect this piece on vinyl just to have something special, you will still receive a digital download of the tracks, so your digital library will remain in tact!
I can't do an Executive Producer pledge, but I would really like to host you for a house or patio concert...are you open to that?
